v0.3.0-alpha
Quest Weapons, a New Start, and UI
September 7, 2026
Quests can pay a weapon instead of Entropy. Payouts are up. New accounts skip the old name modal and tour. Tabs and Home chrome use pixel icons.
Quests
- You now have three quest slots: two Forge, one Clash.
- Forge quests no longer ask for Common, aside from the scripted starter. You turn in at most two items.
- Uncommon Forge quests are a simple rarity hand-in. Rare can also ask for a weapon type. Epic and Legendary ask for a type or a high affix, not a generic rarity dump.
- The Clash slot tracks finishing matches, winning matches, or hitting a win streak. The count scales with rarity.
- When a quest appears it is a coin flip between Entropy and a weapon. The card shows which one you will get.
- A weapon reward matches the quest rarity. About 1 in 20 pays one rarity higher. If a Legendary hits that roll, you get a Boss relic instead.
- Quest weapons use their own origin badges, same family as Boss and Forge drops.
- Forge quests use deposit tiles on the card. You pick unlocked stash items. Equipped loadout does not count. Clash quests use a progress bar.
- Reroll is per card and takes 5 minutes. Deposits go back to stash first. If stash is full, reroll waits.
- Turning in a weapon quest needs a free stash slot.
- The Quests tab icon glows when something is ready to turn in.
- Best Quest in the footer tracks your highest Entropy payout and your highest-power item reward as two separate numbers.
Entropy
- Non-starter quest Entropy is rolled in a range per rarity, about twice the old averages. Type and affix quests sit in a higher band than a plain rarity hand-in. Clash quests have their own band (Uncommon about 147 to 221, up through Legendary about 1656 to 2484).
- Starter quests stay fixed: 360, 250, and 100 Entropy. The scrap starter stays at 50.
- Quests already sitting in your slots keep their current pay until you turn them in or reroll.
- Clash win Entropy is up. A normal win pays 105 (was 35). A Boss win pays 150 (was 50). Extra streak wins add 20% each, down from 25%, on top of that higher base.
New accounts
- First Play no longer opens a name modal or a Discord prompt. You get a random name and avatar.
- New accounts start with two Commons and one Uncommon equipped, plus three starter quests.
- Your first three CPU Clashes are a tutorial. The enemy plays Commons, you win, and RNGelo does not move.
- Your first Ledger upgrade and first affix reroll are free.
- You can reroll your name on Home once a week.
Splash and help
- If you already have a save, the splash shows your name, badge, loadout icons, and equipped power before Play. Discord login no longer skips that screen.
- The first time you open the game, a welcome tip greets you by name. Each tab can show a mechanics tip on first visit. Existing accounts do not auto-play those per-tab tips.
- Mechanics has a Replay tab tips button if you want the full set again.
UI
- Sidebar tabs, the mobile bar, Home sub-nav, and Loadout / Stash headings use pixel icons from the Raven Fantasy Icons pack. During a Boss fight the Clash tab uses the boss icon.
- Home footer History is now Clashes. The subpage heading is Recent Clash History.
- Credits now list UI icons under Clockwork Raven, same pack as the weapon icons.
Boards and Discord
- Admin notes can show up in the recent-feed ticker in gold, mixed in with loot lines.
- On Discord, Epic and Legendary loot, Clash, and Quest posts are batched every 30 minutes.
